 Today in class we did a vocab review. I learned that there are many many words in the dictionary but today my vocabulary expanded just a little. I plan to pay attention to vocab in the future to see new words and their meaning. I felt neutral about the lesson today. It's not my favorite thing to wring sentences for different words but, its not the worst thing we could have done.  I'm feel good today and excited for the long weekend. I still have some work i need to get done over the weekend. I have some AP U.S history and AP psychology notes and vocab to do. I plan to use labor day as a day to get all of it done.

In class today we took a test on origin myths. I learned that test are way easier if you listen and prepare for them. Tho the test wasn't the hardest paying attention in class has help helped me throughout school. I like the test mostly because it was multiple choice. I plan to keep studying and trying in school to do the best I can. Today I was feeling extra tired. I had early morning practice from five to six thirty. So I had to wake up at four thirty to get to practice on time. I plan on going to the football game tonight but am really tired so I'm still deciding if I want to go. 

 Today in class we did a group presentation project about a new story. I learned that people shouldn't jump to conclusions. Like in the story the of The Jealous Father, the father jumps to conclusion that his son was guilty of having an intimate relationship with his stepmother. I can apply this I'm my life to not be quick to judge others.  Today i'm feeling annoyed. Got a lot of assignments due some are rather time consuming but I got to do them so I won't do all the things I would like this weekend.       

 Today in class we had a substitute teacher. We had a newsela an on an origin myth. The origin myth was about a big turtle that became the earth. I learned that there is more than one way to tell a story using the same base line themes like how the world was created. I like the lesson the origin myth today was the most interesting and my favorite so far.  Feeling a little tired today after an early wake up and long practice yesterday. But I have work to do and can slack off. I've got homework to do, notes to take, and review and studying to do. So I might not get to bed when I would like but have to get my work done. 

  Today in class I started and worked on an assignment called origin myths jam board. In which I am working to make a visual representation of my origin myths that I wrote on Friday. Today I learned that having a visual representation of things can be important in the learning process. I can use this information to help me better understand concepts throughout school. When studying I can make a visual representation to help me pick out key points and main ideas. I liked the lesson today mostly because it wasn't particularly difficult. I did like designing my story bringing it to life through pictures and images.  Today I'm feeling excited. I swim year round so I swim every day with the exception of Sunday. Throughout the season there is one two week break at the beginning of school to help with the start of school. So today it started back up and I was feeling more excited because I took a month break because I was feeling burnt out, and my life revolves around swimming so wit...
