In class today we took a test on origin myths. I learned that test are way easier if you listen and prepare for them. Tho the test wasn't the hardest paying attention in class has help helped me throughout school. I like the test mostly because it was multiple choice. I plan to keep studying and trying in school to do the best I can.

Today I was feeling extra tired. I had early morning practice from five to six thirty. So I had to wake up at four thirty to get to practice on time. I plan on going to the football game tonight but am really tired so I'm still deciding if I want to go.

  Prompt Response:  One truth I have had a hard time accepting is that I'm bad at most sports that involve a ball. I'm a swimmer and that's what I do but I still like to think I can play them well. This hit me when I played basketball with some friends and one of their little siblings joined in. I thought this was no big deal, but l was getting beat by him and that made me realize I wasn't the best a sports with a ball.  Summary: Today in class we completed a Newsela while Mr.Rease had a substitute  Reflection: I liked the lesson because the article we read was on an interesting topic everyone should know about the dangers of self diagnosis.

When you shop, do you check where products come from?

Prompt Response:  When I shop, I don't look where the product was made. It doesn't matter to me where a product is made as long as the quality of the product is great. I wouldn't pay extra for something made in the United States because if I'm comparing to products I'm only looking at price and quality to make my decision.  Summary: Today in class we read an article and anwserd questions and did a writing prompt on it.  Reflection:  I liked the simple assignment on a Friday because I was really tired.

9/16/24

 Today in class we started to type up our essay that we have been working on for the past week. The topic of my essay was on goals I had this year. I learned that writing an essay is not as hard as it seems at first glance. I like the lesson because I got to see the work I've done starting to come into a finished product. I did struggle a little writing my opening and closing paragraphs but nothing in can't over come. Feeling great today I revised my schedule to fit all I need to do. So I have time for everything I need to do in a day.
