Describe a time when someone offended you with their words.

 Prompt Response: A time when someone offended me was when I was when my dad called me lazy. I am a hard-working individual, and when someone calls me lazy, it feels like they are discrediting what I do to achieve my goals. My dad was in a bad mood, and I know he didn't mean to do it, but it really hurt because my own father said it. 

Summary: Today in class, we read a poem that discussed themes that words have power and did a short worksheet about it. 

Reflection: I thought that the lesson and poem had a good theme about what we say to other people. It was a good reminder to me just to be more kind to other people.

How do you find time to enjoy your day, even when you have a lot going on?

Prompt Response:  Usually, when I have a lot going on, it is because there are things I have planned and look forward to. But a busy day can still feel overwhelming and distract you from the little pleasures in life. Three things I do to enjoy the small things are to stop and take a deep breath outside and enjoy the weather and the outdoors, to be kind, and to always be grateful for everything.   Summary: Today in class, we had an assignment on NEWSela  Reflection: I thought the article had a good message to watch out for fake information and not believe everything you see online.

What I did over spring break.

  Prompt Response:   I had a peaceful spring break. Monday and Teusday were the most calm I slept in and just stayed at my house relaxing and playing video games. Wensday my mom want to take my family back down to a strawberry farm in macon were we use to live. So on Wensday we went stawberry picking. On thursday we spent the day at six flags. And and on friday I just chilled to the house playing basketball in our  cul de sac. That was my spring break and I enjoyed it.    Summary: Today in class we did multiple-choice practice for the EOC. Reflection: I thought the practice helped me practice and review past material.
