 Today we continued with the second and third steps in the writing process. We also took notes on informal and formal language to help us with the third step in the writing process, revising. I learned that it is important to revise. I saw many things in my paragraphs that needed revising. So I plan to revise all essays I write. 

I'm really tired today. I had a late night because my parents wanted me to go with them to a concert. I enjoyed it but got to bed later than I wanted. I really wish I had an extra day to finish my school and homework, but it's due tomorrow so I must finish it tonight.

Prompt Response:  When I shop, I don't look where the product was made. It doesn't matter to me where a product is made as long as the quality of the product is great. I wouldn't pay extra for something made in the United States because if I'm comparing to products I'm only looking at price and quality to make my decision.  Summary: Today in class we read an article and anwserd questions and did a writing prompt on it.  Reflection:  I liked the simple assignment on a Friday because I was really tired.

Now that you have completed your sensory presentation, reflect on which of the five senses you value most.

Prompt Response:  While I like all the senses, the one I value the most is sight. I value sight the most because it allows me to experience life. It allows me to experience color and light. It allows me to see my loved ones and the beautiful things in life. While all the senses are very important, I value my sight the most.  Summary: Today in class, we had an assignment on common lit.  Reflection: I thought the article was interesting in the idea that there are three types of friendships.

Who is the best cook in your family?

Prompt Response:  My mom is the best cook in my family. She has been cooking for a long time and everything she makes is amazing. She can try to cook something once, fail, and the next time she tries it, it's perfect. A meal that I really love is her pork buns. They are really tasty and I can bring them for a lunch or have them at the house to eat. They are really good and one of my favorites.  Summary: Today in class we finished our cultural food posters Reflection:  I liked having a work period to finish my class work instead of going home and finishing it.
